Imani Notary Service
Appointment Scheduling
Appointments are confirmed upon acceptance by Imani Notary Service. Please ensure all signers are present with valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification at the scheduled appointment time.
Service Area
Imani Notary Service provides mobile notary services by appointment. Travel outside the standard service area may be available upon request.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments canceled at least two (2) hours before the scheduled appointment time will not incur a fee.
Appointments canceled within two (2) hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of $25.
If the notary has already traveled to the appointment location, the agreed-upon travel fee may still apply.
Signer Requirements
All signers must:
- Be physically present at the time of notarization.
- Be willing and aware of the document they are signing.
- Present valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification or otherwise satisfy Washington State identification requirements.
Imani Notary Service reserves the right to refuse service if Washington State notarial requirements cannot be met.
No Legal Advice
Imani Notary Service is not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice, prepare legal documents, select notarial certificates, or advise clients regarding the legal effect of any document.
Document Review
Clients are responsible for ensuring documents are complete and ready for notarization before the appointment. Documents may contain blank spaces only when permitted by law and when those blanks are not required to be completed before notarization.
Payment
Payment is due at the completion of the appointment unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Right to Refuse Service
Imani Notary Service reserves the right to refuse any notarization that does not comply with Washington State law, including but not limited to situations involving improper identification, unwilling or unaware signers, incomplete notarial certificates, suspected fraud, coercion, or any circumstance that prevents the notary from lawfully performing the requested notarial act.
Privacy
Client information is kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing requested notarial services, maintaining required records, and complying with applicable Washington State laws.
